The Work Plan for Plastic Pollution Control in the Civil Aviation Industry (2021-2025) issued by the Civil Aviation Administration clearly states that from 2022, disposable non degradable plastic bags, disposable non degradable plastic straws, mixing rods, meal/cup sets and packaging bags are prohibited from being provided in relevant areas of airports with an annual passenger throughput of more than 2 million (including) passengers and domestic passenger flights, and the implementation scope will be further expanded to national airports and international passenger flights from 2023.

 

Since 2021, some civil aviation enterprises have started the upgrading of disposable plastic products in the aviation industry.
